Lan Vu | Founder
Lan is a leading trend forecaster with 20 years’ experience in the fashion industry. Her past positions included: Vice-President of Creative Services/Trend Forecasting for Stylesight and Creative Director of Here & There, where she forecasted color and styling trends for companies such as: Revlon, Lancome, Mary Kay, Redken, Ralph Lauren, Max Mara, Gap, Nike, Puma, etc. She was a speaker at trend seminars in New York and Hong Kong, and designed the official trend forums for the Asia Interstoff trade show. Lan has contributed to many international publications such as Textile View (Netherlands), Zoom On Fashion Trends (Italy), Collezioni Trends (Italy), and International Textiles (England), Citizen K (France), and Marie Claire (Singapore). Her creative consulting and branding clients have included London Fog, Gore-Tex, and Danskin Activewear. Lan holds a degree in fashion design from the Fashion Institute of Technology in New York. Tina is a journalist and editor with over 20 years' experience. Formerly the Editor-in-Chief/Launch Editor of Vogue.com France, she also served as Senior Editor at Elle.com in Paris. She regularly contributes to publications including Above, Style.com, Women’s Wear Daily, Travel + Leisure, Flare, and Paris Magazine. Her writing has also appeared in the American and Russian editions of Vogue, The Intelligent Life, House & Garden, the London Evening Standard, and Marie Claire Australia. Tina began in the beauty industry as International News Editor at International Cosmétique News. She is a graduate of Vanderbilt University in Nashville, Tennessee. Languages: English and French.

Liz is a reputed journalist, editor, and trend forecaster. She has served as Beauty Editor for magazines such as Above, i-D, 10+, and 10 Men. Liz was the Founder of Project, the UK’s first eco style magazine and was the former Editor of the influential futures magazine Viewpoint. Liz is a regular contributor to British Vogue, Sunday Times Style, Stella magazine (The Sunday Telegraph), GQ Style, Marie Claire, Ecocolo, and Arena. Her consulting clients include M.A.C, Schwarzkopf Professional, Prada fragrances, The Future Laboratory, Max Factor, and Monsoon. She holds a First-Class Honors degree in Fashion Communication from the London College of Fashion, part of the University of the Arts London.
Michael Nolte | Forecast
Michael is a trend forecaster with over 12 years' experience. As a forecaster for Stylesight, Carlin International, and Nelly Rodi, he predicted trends for clients such as L’Oreal, Aston Martin, Target, Reebok, Disney, Converse, and Levi Strauss. His trend consulting clients include Pierre Cardin, Joop, and Karstadt/Quelle. Michael holds a fashion design degree from Esmod International in Paris. Languages: German, French and English.
Nicolas Teisson | Packaging
Nicolas is an art director whose experience spans both online and printed publications. At Publicis Et Nous, an international advertising agency, he was an art director for luxury brands such as Hermes, Helena Rubinstein and Boucheron. While art director for Landor & Associates and Debonneville-Orlandini in Paris, Nicolas worked for clients like Philip Morris, Mövenpick, Nikon and Daniel Hechter. He was in charge of the Packaging Forecast at Stylesight, creating layouts and original cosmetic packaging designs for clients such as Estée Lauder and Donna Karan. He graduated from Créapole Ecole de Création & Management Paris with a master’s degree in Visual Communications. Languages: French, Spanish and English.
Carolyn Holm | Trade Shows
Carolyn has over 19 years’ experience in product development, editorial and trend forecasting. She started her career in merchandising at Gap Inc. From there, she became Product Manager at Talbots, where she was responsible for the design and production of Talbots Kids apparel and accessories. In addition, Carolyn was the Editorial Director of the Doneger Group for over seven years, supervising the art, editorial, photo and data departments. She spearheaded the relaunch of doneger.com, overseeing the design and management of their corporate / subscriber websites. Carolyn and her team also developed the Beauty Mark publication, which evolved into major consulting projects for brands like Mac Cosmetics. Carolyn graduated cum laude from Princeton University with a B.A. in English. Languages: English and French.
Naomi Marcoulet | Trade Shows
Naomi is an experienced journalist and beauty editor. She was the Beauty Editor for the international trade publications International Cosmetic News, CosmeticNews Weekly, and CosmeticNews.com for 10 years. She has also contributed to trade publications such as Women's Wear Daily, BW Confidential, and Pro Esthetic. Her editorial consulting clients include L'Oreal, Shiseido, and The Future Laboratory. Prior to this, she was a consultant for investment firm Verus Investments. Naomi has a science degree from the Riverina-Murray Institute of Higher Education, Australia and studied journalism at the Sydney Institute of Technology. Languages: English and French.

Selene is the author of the book, Unforgettable Color, Revlon Makeup with Confidence (Firefly Books, 2003), celebrating the 70th anniversary of Revlon. As an expert on the New York retail scene, she also edited the Zagat New York City Shopping Guide. Her background includes work as Fashion Features Editor at Elle and Beauty Editor of Hamptons Magazine. Selene is a regular contributor to leading publications such as The New York Times, InStyle, Lucky, Nylon, Travel & Leisure, The New York Post and Gotham.
Emilie Kodjo | Marketing
Emilie comes from an international marketing and public relations background. She worked for Sutton PR Agency, the largest public relations agency in London for contemporary art. She helped set up the influential Frieze global art fair and collaborated with Jay Jopling for the White Cube Gallery and Charles Saatchi for the Saatchi Gallery. Emilie graduated from La Sorbonne with two master's degrees in English Literature and in Politics. Languages: English, French and Spanish.
Dan Liu | Branding
Dan is a creative director and award-winning designer. He has created branding, marketing and creative strategies for a wide range of companies, including Sony, Discovery Networks, Sprint, Novartis, North American Bus Industries, AOL Time Warner, Nickelodeon, the United Nations, and the Brooklyn Children’s Museum. Dan’s unique approach to branding and marketing combines innovative design and artistic concepts with today’s newest technologies. His work covers a variety of creative platforms, from interactive media, community-based websites, e-commerce sites and digital tools, to print-based advertising campaigns, books, and photography. Dan’s most recent work as a creative director at Agency.com involves creating strategies and interactive marketing tools for Discovery Networks’ twelve channels. He also created a digital branding and ad campaign for Morgan Stanley, showcased in a block-long signage in New York’s Times Square. Languages: English and Mandarin.

Beautystreams is in collaboration with OJ-Design. Olivier Jacob heads the global design group OJ-Design with offices in Paris, Japan, and Singapore. Dualism is his approach, sensing the "heart" of the brand in order to connect the consumers' micro-universe to the brand's world. They interact with a brand from a 360° perspective, defining brand strategy, creating or strengthening brand identity, and bringing higher visibility and performance to the products. OJ-Design excels in commercial architecture and visual merchandising (retail shop design, shop-in-shops, promotional booths, etc). They are experts on the European and Asian markets (Japan, Korea, China, Southeast Asia) with over 20 years’ experience. David Shah | Trend Publishing
David is one of the fashion industry’s foremost trend authorities. He is the publisher of Metropolitan Publishing BV, which produces Textile View, View2, Viewpoint, Pantone View Colour Planner and the Chinese edition on Textile View VIFF. David is also a consultant working on design and marketing developments with many leading apparel and industrial companies in Europe, ranging from fashion to automotive, pharmaceutical to white goods. He is renowned for his speeches around the world on social and design trends. David is an Associate Professor at ARTez, the Netherlands, responsible for the course on branding and marketing and an Associate Professor at Renmin University, Beijing. He is also a Fellow of the Royal College of Arts.
ORLAN | Artist
ORLAN is a renowned artist, whose work has been exhibited at prestigious museums and galleries worldwide. Her art explores the recurring themes of female identity, beauty, disfiguration and refiguration, hybridization, and the dialectic between the virtual and the real. It has taken myriad forms: performance, installation, painting, sculpture, poetry, dance, photography, and video. From 1990 to 1993, she conducted her famed “The Reincarnation of Saint-Orlan-Images-New Images,” a series of 9 surgery-performances, filmed and broadcasted live internationally to art institutions such as the Centre Georges Pompidou. She is a professor at the École Nationale Supérieure des Beaux-Arts in Paris-Cergy, and is on the board of administrators for the Palais de Tokyo Museum in Paris. ORLAN was awarded France’s highest cultural honor, the title of Chevalier de l’Ordre des Arts et des Lettres (Knight of the Order of Arts & Letters).
Renaud Manceron | Visual Merchandising
Renaud is the Director of Visual Merchandising at Hermes. He was also Visual Merchandising Manager for Chanel and Georg Jensen, responsible for the brand strategy and visual merchandising of their stores worldwide. In addition, Renaud was Senior Product Manager for Cartier offices in Paris, Madrid, Miami, and Singapore. He graduated from the Institut Europeen Des Affaires in Paris with a degree in Marketing.
Philippe Musette | Dermatology
Philippe is a leading international authority on dermatology. He was President of the Dermatological Research Society, the Scientific Council of the French Dermatology Society, and the National Program of Dermatological Research. He is also a Board Member of the European Society of Dermatological Research. As CEO of the GATC-Pharma and Clonomab, he consults with beauty companies and establishes laboratories worldwide. Philippe has published numerous books and articles in medical and scientific journals. He is a professor of dermatology (PU-PH) at the Rouen University Hospital.
Mimma Viglezio | PR-Communications
Mimma comes from a prestigious background in communications and public relations. She was the Executive Vice-President of Global Communications of the Gucci Group, where she coordinated and controlled the activity of 8 brands and was responsible for the group’s corporate communications, media buying, market intelligence, and corporate image. Previously, Mimma was Worldwide Communications Director at Louis Vuitton, overseeing a budget of over 120 million euros and a team of more than 40 worldwide. Prior to that, she was the Corporate Communications Executive Director for Bulgari in Rome. In mid-2010 she is appointed a Trustee of a UN project funded by their Geneva’s International Trade Center called Ethical Fashion, for which she also works on an on-going basis as a consultant. She is a trustee of PRASAD, a non-profit organization based in India, of the MTV Exit Foundation against Human Trafficking, and she is a Founding Member and Member of the Board of The PPR Foundation for Women’s rights and dignity. She holds a degree in Italian and English literature from The University of Geneva.
Dmitry Paramanov | Pharmaceutical Marketing
Dmitry is a Sales and Marketing Executive with 18 years’ experience in the pharmaceutical and medical fields for Fortune 100 companies. At Bristol-Myers Squibb, he held various roles from Director of Global Market Access to Director of Global Marketing. At Cordis Endovascular (Johnson & Johnson), he was Director of Worldwide Marketing, managing a company-wide market strategy development. He has been posted in the United States, Russia, United Kingdom, Netherlands, Canada, and Hong Kong. Dmitry received his M.B.A. from the Kellogg Graduate Schools of Management.
Cathy Praslick | Venture Capital
Cathy brings over fifteen years of experience in strategy, market research, venture capital, and management consulting. As a Partner at Saffron Partners, she conducted market research for and advised public, start up, and private companies on strategy and business development. Previously, Cathy was with Alliance Technology Ventures (ATV), a private equity firm with $250 million dollars under management. She also worked for Strategic Enterprise Fund, the corporate venture fund of United Parcel Service, where she sourced and reviewed deals, raised funds, and served on several boards representing UPS. Before joining the company’s venture fund, she was with UPS’ Corporate Strategy Group, where she directed research efforts on competitive and market intelligence. Cathy received her B.S. from California State Polytechnic University at Pomona, and her M.B.A. from Goizueta Business School at Emory University, specializing in strategy and information technology.
Patrick Simonnet | Finance
Patrick brings over 30 years of experience in the banking and securities industry. He was Vice President at Goldman Sachs Paris, London, New York and Chicago. He is currently a Capital Markets consultant to The World Bank, the International Monetary Fund (IMF) and Lakeland Asset Management (LAMGP). Patrick is an active member of the French-American Chamber of Commerce in Chicago (FACC), a co-founder of the French-American Business Leaders in the Midwest and a director (board member) of the Association of Sciences Politiques Alumni in the USA. Patrick graduated from Sciences-Po/Institut d'Etudes Politiques de Paris, received his master's in Economic Sciences from the University of Paris I Pantheon-Sorbonne, and graduated from the Banking Management Institute of the Banque de France.
